International Networking Week To Celebrate Business Success
In a tough economy, BNI WCF celebrates business growth with International Networking Week.
- (1888PressRelease) January 19, 2011 - Business Networking International West Coast Florida (BNI WCF) will celebrate the 5th annual International Networking Week February 7th - 11th by holding a plethora of activities acknowledging the power of networking and relationships in business. International Networking Week is a BNI initiative centered around businesses achieving success through effective networking. The week, which has been recognized by many groups and governmental agencies, extends itself to participation from non-BNI groups and organizations.
The highlight of BNI WCF's celebration will be the Get Connected event held in the Luna Restaurant at the Hilton Carillion, 950 Lake Carillon Drive, St. Petersburg on February 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. BNI WCF will present this event in alliance with the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Tampa Bay Women Newspapers, Luna and the Referral Institute. The cost is $15 to attend and includes appetizers with a Cash Bar. Those interested in attending are asked to register at www.clearwaterflorida.org.
Other networking activities sponsored by BNI WCF throughout the week include:
• The Success Alliance Chapter meeting on February 8th celebrating that in January, the 60+ members of the group will hit the $2 million in closed business mark for the 12 months prior. Mayor Dave Eggers of Dunedin and a representative of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce have been invited to speak. Paula Bonnell, BNI Managing Director, will be the guest speaker.
• The BNI Profit Makers, Power Players and Rainmakers chapters in Ocala are combining to support partnership with the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce, and have invited members to attend various networking meetings during the week.
• The BNI Winners Circle Largo chapter has invited members from the Largo Chamber of Commerce to attend their meeting on February 8th.
• Various chapters of BNI will be holding major guest invite events to expose a broader public to networking, and some of these events will be themed.
BNI WCF has recently released their 2010 referral figures. The organization has passed 83,624 referrals generating $50,196,030 in closed business during the past 12 months. It is statistics like these which have prompted Ocala Magazine to rank BNI WCF as the best networking for 2010.
