  • Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2011 - Kai Heru Rama, Vice President of the Divine Wholistic Health Association, announced at last week's press conference in northwest Detroit that by popular demand Dr. Wayne Chandler will spend two days of his national tour in Detroit.

Chandler's Detroit schedule begins Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the God Land Unity Church at 22450 Schoolcraft from 12 Noon until 5 PM. Listening to Dr. Chandler's Saturday lecture, the audience will learn the necessary steps to keeping healthy in body, spirit and mind through alternative holistic medicine.

The surge of interest in alternative holistic medicine at the beginning of the 21st century is obvious from the increased use of alternative healthcare modalities by energy therapists and their patients. More people are combining conventional medicine and alternative treatments in their search for better health and wellness.

The increasing demand for alternative holistic medicine treatments stems from the public's concerns regarding the over-medication of conventional healthcare, its rising costs, and the pharmaceutical view that conventional medicine often has of disease.

Holistic practitioners do not want passive patients; they teach their patients to take responsibility for their own health. This alternative holistic approach tends to be cost-effective in the treatment and prevention of illness or disease and is essential for optimal health.

Following the principles of Dr. Chandler's lecture will help individuals move from carbon-based to crystalline energy.

When alternative holistic medicine is used with conventional medicine in a fully coordinated approach to patient care, this is referred to as complementary medicine, integrative medicine or holistic healthcare. Complementary, integrative and alternative holistic medicine is based on a physician-patient partnership in which both conventional and alternative modalities are used to stimulate the body's natural healing potential.

This enlightened approach to diagnosis and treatment brings together the best of all traditions and has the advantage of putting an increased emphasis on disease prevention and general wellness.

The second day of Dr. Chandler's Detroit visit, Sunday, November 6, is an intimate retreat limited to 20 people. Chandler will give a detailed instruction in Divine Sounds and Body Movements that will re-structure DNA and strengthen organs, glands, muscles and cells.

The private retreat will take place on Sunday, November 6 from 10 AM until 5 PM in Southfield.
