  • Decatur, AL (1888PressRelease) February 17, 2011 - Instant Diagnostic Systems (IDS), the nation's largest independent diagnostic testing facility (IDTF) providing in-home testing, is pleased to announce that they have contracted with Aetna to provide Home Sleep Testing (HST) and Overnight Pulse-Oximetry Testing to their members nationwide. Under the new contract, members of Aetna's network-based plans will be able to receive covered benefits at in-network rates for HST and Overnight Pulse-Oximetry Testing from IDS.

Based in Decatur, Alabama, IDS specializes in home-based diagnostic Home Sleep Testing for CPAP or dental appliance qualification and Overnight Pulse-Oximetry Testing for oxygen qualification. IDS conducts more studies in the home than any other IDTF in the nation; and has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™ for accreditation in ambulatory health, telehealth and sleep studies.

IDS serves over 125,000 physicians, 2,500 Home Medical Equipment Suppliers (HMEs), and has performed home tests on over 800,000 patients.
