Independent Arizona Retailer Teams Up with Arizona Charity to Give Back This Holiday Season
Zoolikins, an independent retailer in Scottsdale Arizona, has teamed up with Maggie's Place, a community that provides houses of hospitality for expectant women who are alone or on the streets.

Throughout the month of December, Zoolikins customers who spend over $125 will have a $10 gift certificate to the store donated to Maggie's Place. Customers are also encouraged to bring in new or gently used baby goods for donation. Maggie's Place is in need of baby toiletries, baby bottles and feeding accessories, breast feeding accessories, women's hygiene products, newborn and infant clothing, receiving blankets, swaddles and burp cloths.
"For Zoolikins customers, having a baby is one of the most joyous times in their lives" says Zoolikins store manager, Shira Shnier. "but for some expectant mothers, it is a time of hardship. We want to change that, we want the women at Maggie's Place to feel the joy they are entitled to feel - especially during the holiday season."
Zoolikins has built a wonderful community in Old-Town Scottsdale for new and expectant families, focusing on safe, creative, natural products for baby and beyond. Their sense of community and belonging mirrors the mission of Maggie's Place, which is why this partnership is so fitting, especially at this time of year.

Maggie's Place provides for the immediate physical and emotional needs of our guests including shelter, food, clothing and a supportive community, and provides a safe environment for them to live in while they develop the skills they need to live independently.
During their stay, mothers are connected to agencies and resources like prenatal care, health insurance, low-cost housing, and educational programs. A woman can come stay with Maggie's Place at any point in her pregnancy and can stay up to six months postpartum.
Currently, Maggie's Place operates three homes in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area (Phoenix, Tempe and Glendale) and one in Cleveland, Ohio.
