iGeolise Launch UK's First Self Serve Travel Time Data Analytics Service

Top Quote Export Postcode Data By Travel Time Area With The TravelTime Postcodes app. End Quote
  • (1888PressRelease) July 06, 2017 - UK: iGeolise, providers of the TravelTime analytics platform & API, have launched a new tool that doesn’t require a GIS specialist to export useful postcode data. The web app allows users to create travel time catchment areas using drop down boxes and add up to 1000 start locations. For example, a retailer can enter 500 store locations and request all postcodes that fall within a 15 minute travel time area of these stores. The data is emailed directly to the user’s inbox and includes a list of all units, sectors and districts within the area as well as the journey times from the start location to each postcode. It also lists how much of each postcode sector and district lies within the created catchment area. Users receive separate travel time files for each transport mode including walking, driving, public transport, cycling and combining train and car.

Charlie Davies, Co-founder of iGeolise said “We developed the tool to make GIS-level insight available for everyone. It’s a fast and economical way to make decisions for advertising, sales territory management, store portfolio planning and more. It can be used by anyone in an organisation because it requires no training, giving individuals and teams more control over the decision making process.”

    Getting started:
    - Users can try it out free before committing by creating a 30 minute catchment area to view sample postcodes: https://tools.traveltimeplatform.com/#/postcodes-within-a-radius/
    - Location analysis starts from £100 when analysing up to 25 start location postcodes and only £2.25 per postcode thereafter.

    About iGeolise
Creators of the TravelTime platform, an API and analytics tool that lets users search location data using minutes rather than miles. Many businesses use miles radius to power apps or make decisions based on location, but this assumes that people can travel as the crow flies. TravelTime calculates all possible A>B routes around an origin to make a catchment area that is specific for the user’s travel preferences. It powers travel time searching on Rightmove, Zoopla, TotalJobs, Jobsite & other small web searches.
