Boulder, CO (1888PressRelease) April 29, 2011 - Colorado dealer Fisher Honda, in an effort to assist the Boulder Colorado Humane Society held a contest on Facebook.

The contest was simple in intention. For every person that visited and became a fan of the Fisher Auto Facebook Page from the periods of April 1-April 23, Fisher Auto donated $1 dollar to the Boulder Humane society. The contest ended in conjunction with the "Puttin on the Leash 2011 Gala", an event held by the Humane Society.

The Humane Society commented how excited they were to have the support of Fisher Auto.

Fisher Honda Kia (Fisher Auto) helped support the Boulder Humane Society's efforts by advertising on every available media channel including five websites!

Mark Brady, General Manager of Fisher Auto stated, "We really wanted to get the message out there quickly and having multiple avenues via our websites assisted in doing just that."

Fisher Auto typically draws over 15,000 visitors per month to their websites which makes great portals to advertise community events. In addition to online advertising Fisher also utilized their service department to spread the word via announcements on all repair orders.

Candace Lawley, Fisher Auto's Digital Communications Manager is working on Fisher Auto's next community event, which will be a blood drive beginning at the end of May and possibly assisting with a mobile adoption center for the Humane Society. Candace stated, "We are always looking for a way to get involved and being able to give back to the local community is truly a gift for Fisher Auto."
