Join Holman Ranch and Edible Monterey Bay Magazine for a Pop-Up Supper Club in the vineyard on Tuesday, August 28th. Edible Monterey Bay's new Pop-Up Supper Club series is all about building community, creating opportunities for the public to come together, sharing a delicious meal, and cultivating bonds that celebrate the food of our region.

Holman Ranch will host the August Pop-Up Supper Club with an evening in its Millennium Vineyard. Guests will enjoy a four course family-style meal prepared by Wild Thyme and Michael's Catering.

Spend the evening swirling, sipping and savoring the intricate excellence and complexities of Holman Ranch Vineyard and Winery wines. Estate-grown and meticulously hand-harvested, there is something for everyone, from the bouquet of Pinot Gris, the barely-oaked, food-friendly Chardonnay, to the full-bodied Pinot Noir.

Enjoy a local meal al fresco and support the Food Bank for Monterey County. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the organization. Donations allowed without your presence. A certified Feeding America food bank, it is the largest supplier of emergency food in Monterey County, serving 1 in 5 low-income Monterey County residents (90,000 different people) with 6 million pounds of food annually. The national image of our area is one of wealth and beauty. Yet poverty and food insecurity exist in the "Salad Bowl of the World." The challenge is great and the Food Bank strives to meet it on a daily basis.

About Holman Ranch Vineyard and Winery
Established in 1928 and tucked away in the rolling hills of Carmel Valley, historic Holman Ranch is a private estate with charming gardens, stunning mountain views and serenity. This family-owned ranch resides approximately 12 miles inland from the Pacific Coast. This stunning property includes a fully-restored stone hacienda, overnight guestrooms, vineyards, olive grove, horse stables and more. Affording old-world charm while providing modern day conveniences, Holman Ranch truly realizes its maxim:

Where the Past is Always Present.
Holman Ranch estate-grown wine varietals are planted on 20 acres of undulating terrain. The estate wines include Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé of Pinot Noir. They are produced unrefined and crafted to deliver the true varietal of the grape from harvest to bottle. The climate and terroir of the appellation is crucial to its success, proving to be an ideal microclimate for the production of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Burgundy Clones.

Immersed in history and romance, the ranch has not only proven to be an excellent growing location for its vineyards but also for the Tuscan varietal olive trees which have flourished under the temperate climate. Its Extra Virgin olive oil has a delightfully distinctive flavor.
