  • (1888PressRelease) January 25, 2016 - Hilton Worldwide Beijing Cluster hotels, which are Waldorf Astoria Beijing, Conrad Beijing, Hilton Beijing, Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, Hilton Beijing Capital Airport and DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing are going to collaboratively launch the 12-month "#EatDrinkhilton" program in 2016. Each month, one seasonable core ingredient will be chosen. Our versatile and creative chefs will challenge themselves to present and craft this carefully chosen fresh and healthy ingredient into something inspiring and delicious, across our many hotels and restaurants.

    The ultimate goal of "EatDrink Hilton" is to provide our guests with the freshest and the best of the seasonal local ingredients from the region. An opportunity for our Hilton F&B teams to use local ingredients prepared creatively and in surprising new ways not just for the enjoyment for our guests and diners but to also echo Hilton Worldwide' global commitment to social responsibility by working with local businesses and communities. With this in mind, our executive chefs are creating enticing seasonal menus featuring produce truly reflective of the local cities and regions they are working in.

    Cluster F&B team lined up a series of ingredients for 2016. JANUARY will be Ginger, an ingredient known not only for it's taste but for its health benefits as well. For the northern regions of China it is often eaten in the chillier months to ward of colds and flus. Ginger, as a well-known Asian ingredient, can be used throughout many different cuisines as well as being a savory and a sweet. FEBUARY will introduce the huge world of Chilies. Chilies share a connection with Chinese New Year with their often-bright red color symbolizing good fortune. Chilies come in many shapes, tastes and spice level making it a favorite ingredient among chefs the world over. MARCH will feature seasonal, fresh Spring Chicken, known and appreciated for its great flavor during this time of the year.

    The F&B teams of Hilton Worldwide Beijing Cluster Hotels will continue to search out and source new core ingredients as the new seasons approach for the remainder of 2016 to ensure we continue to deliver the best that the region and China have to offer.
