'Signature Designs' By Bonnie Bagley Catlin, were chosen for their expert knowledge in kitchen design to completely renovate the kitchen and living area of the Californian vacation home.
The condo looked out over Solana Beach front, however in its original state the view was obscured by a poorly designed and largely outdated dated kitchen and lounge area. The final result saw a beautifully designed contemporary kitchen which utilised all available space, along with a modern, spacious living area which allowed occupants to relax in front of the stunning ocean view.
Headed by company director and chief designer, Bonnie Bagley Catlin, 'Signature Designs' began the renovation project by consulting with the client to fully understand their vision and expectations. 'Signature Designs' then contributed their expert advice to come up with a completely new and exciting plan for the kitchen and living space.
"The plan was to make everything modern and fresh, to make the sea view the center piece. We created space in the kitchen by removing an unnecessary pantry and remodelling cabinetry to give an open plan feel. The original living area was overwhelmed by an old fashioned mirrored fireplace, so in replacing this with a more efficient and aesthetic alternative along with a mounted TV, the room was instantly modernised to give a fresh and comfortable atmosphere." - Bonnie Bagley Catlin.
