  • (1888PressRelease) April 06, 2011 - It's more than just a ticket.

Each purchase for the "Team Up with Tim Howard" raffle puts you in the running to win a trip to Manchester, U.K. to see an Everton Football Club match and have dinner with superstar goalkeeper Tim Howard.

As if that's not exciting enough, you're already doing a great thing by helping tens of thousands of children and families living with Tourette Syndrome- a neurological disorder affecting as many as 1 in 100 Americans according to the National Institutes of Health. Proceeds from "Team Up with Tim Howard" will benefit the NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome. "Though based in the Garden State, the work of NJCTS benefits the entire TS community through our research, family outreach, education and medical training programs, said NJCTS Executive Director Faith Rice.

Tim Howard knows what it's like to be a kid with a neurological disorder which causes erratic muscle movements or uncontrollable sounds. He also knows what it's like to overcome obstacles like Tourette Syndrome and achieve great success. There are many reasons why Tim Howard is an inspiration, and his commitment to children and families with TS is certainly at the top of the list.

"I look forward to hosting this year's winner to an Everton game and dinner," said Howard, goalkeeper for the Everton Football Club. Tickets are on sale now through June 1st by visiting www.teamupwithtimhoward.org for $25 each or 5 tickets for $100. The winner will receive round-trip airfare for two from Newark Liberty International airport in New Jersey to Manchester, U.K.; hotel accommodations; two tickets to an Everton Football Club match and dinner with Tim Howard.

U.S. residents age 18 and over can download and order form at www.teamupwithtimhoward.org and mailing the completed form and payment to:
