Harvey Industries, LLC Completes Acquisition of Die Casting Business
Tier one supplier Harvey Industries expands into the die casting business.
- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) February 10, 2011 - Harvey Industries Die Casting, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvey Industries, LLC (collectively "Harvey Industries" announced today that it has acquired substantially all the assets of the die casting operations of R.E. Phelon Company, Inc. located in Aiken, South Carolina. The operation has proforma annual sales of approximately $24M, 130 employees and has 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
The acquisition expands the company's geographic footprint, builds upon its capabilities of manufacturing aluminum castings, and results in various synergistic benefits for Harvey Industries and its customers and suppliers.
