    Campinas, San Paulo, Brazil - Griaule Biometrics a worldwide developer of biometric technologies and services announced today that Supergiros a developer of lottery stations is using Fingerprint SDK to deploy fingerprint security at more than 3800 lottery locations in Colombia. Supergiros is using biometrics to quickly identify lottery customers for the purchasing of tickets, and award of winning lottery claims at lottery stations.

    The new process provides a more secure way to identify the winner, and avoids any possible mistake of awarding the lottery winnings to the wrong customer. The project is a partnership between Griaule Biometrics and Supergiros, and makes Griaule Biometrics a leader in providing biometric solutions in Colombia.
