"Grace Centers of Hope is an active force for change in communities throughout southeast Michigan by the helping homeless return to mainstream society with purpose, skills and hope for their future," said Grace Centers of Hope Chief Operating Officer Darin Weiss. "Our Men on a Mission Mentoring Program is one example of how we provide the resources to rebuild dignity and confidence among the individuals who we serve."
In addition to college tuition and vocational training, program participants receive books, transportation, school supplies, as well as a wide range of other related expenses that are necessary to support each individual's education.

The softball tournament is open to men's teams that are Class C, D or below. There will be 36 teams in this year's tournament with each team competing in at least three guaranteed games. The tournament is a Round Robin style and each team will be seeded into an elimination bracket based upon their win/loss record, runs scored and runs allowed.

Teams are limited to a maximum of 14 players. Cost for early registration is $250 per team on or before June 17, and $300 per team afterwards. Participants can register online or by phone. Each tournament participant will receive a free t-shirt the day of the event.

"We look forward to another successful event and graciously thank the softball tournament players and event sponsors for their continued support," said Weiss.
