Glenwood South Monthly Market
Legacy Event Planners and the Glenwood South Merchants Association will be hosting its second monthly Market on North Street off of Glenwood Avenue Saturday June 29th (10am-3pm).
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) June 26, 2013 - Legacy Event Planners and the Glenwood South Merchants Association will host their second Monthly Saturday Market this Saturday, June 29th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"We're excited to host such a fun and energetic event that will expose locals to the small businesses that make our community so vibrant," Dina Loftus, Legacy's Event Coordinator said. Dina is one of many behind the preparation for the event.
The markets are held the last Saturday of each month. Legacy hosted their first Monthly Market on May 25th, which turned out to be a huge success.
"The turn out was great, everyone who came really enjoyed it," Loftus said. "It was a great location and people that were either going to eat or shopping on Glenwood wanted to come and see what we had going on."
The markets will feature 40 vendors set up along North Street. Vendors will include-Purdy Mommies Creations, Good Girls Studio, Wooden Creations, Sugar Magnolia, Health Source Chiropractic, Gypsy Jule, Belindabilly, Lorelines, Got Thyme?, Lisa Stewart, Thirty-One, Sentsy, Fresh Roots, Leopold Designs, Lucky Accessories, Just Plain Simple, Zac Schell, Linda Searcy Jewelry, and many more.
There will also be a raffle for anyone who is interested in winning some fantastic prizes! Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 or 5 tickets for $4. Prizes packages will include-gift cards & hair products from Bottega Hair Salon, $15 Dos Equis gift cards, gift cards to the Cupcake Shoppe, gifts from Ornamentea, earrings & bracelets from Cat banjo, a 50 minute massage from HealthSource, a one night stay at the Hampton Inn, and a one week free pass to O2 Fitness.
