The influence of this witch was such that the now fugitive from justice, Jose Corona, was helped and empowered to brutally murder his wife and mother of his five children.

In another character of influence, Georja portrays the title role of the romantic action comedy "The Godmother" as a gangster mother who convinces her daughter to try to murder her husband. The film will be screened at the Anaheim International Film Festival October 15 at 7 pm. "The Godmother" has won many prestigious festival awards this year including Best Short in the Soho International Film Festival, Audience Award at the First Look Festival, and Best Student Film at Method Fest. It will also be viewed in Japan at the Sapporo Short Festival during the month of October.

In September Georja was seen at a Film Independent screening playing the title role in the dramatic short, "Madame Tanya," as part of Project Involve. It's a sweet story of a psychic healer who can't heal herself.

You may recognize Georja from roles on "General Hospital," "Easy Money," or from her stage work as a stand up comedienne. In between performing she writes reviews and articles on culture, travel and animal advocacy for LASplash.com. Returning recently from a month-long trip to France and Kenya, her featured articles can be viewed on www.lasplash.com. A Santa Monica resident, she lives with her husband, writer Gerald Jones, and Jack Russell terrier Marcello.
