Geomant Announces Availability Of Microsoft LYNC Server 2010-compatible Beta Products

  • (1888PressRelease) September 20, 2010 - BIRMINGHAM, UK - Unified Communications software developer Geomant today announced that its portfolio of Microsoft Lync Server 2010-compatible Unified Communications solutions will be available to beta customers from October 15, 2010.

    Solutions to be made available under Geomant's beta program include:
    - Contact Expert, a fully featured software-based Contact Centre solution.
    - Lync Server 2010 Call Recording.
    - SMS for Lync Server 2010.
    - UC Client Accounting - a Lync Server 2010 Call Accounting and billing solution.
    - Geomant Presence Suite: delivering Rich Presence, Geographic Presence, and Integration of presence with Business Applications.

    Geomant's solutions are all currently available for Office Communications Server R2. As part of Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP) for Lync Server 2010 Geomant has worked closely with Microsoft's product team to extend its products to become Lync Server 2010-compatible and to take full advantage of the extended capacities that Lync Server 2010 provides.

    Geomant's beta program is timed to coincide with the availability from Microsoft of Lync Server 2010 RC (Release Candidate) from October 15, 2010. Further, Geomant has announced General Availability of its Lync Server 2010-compatible solutions within 45-days of Microsoft making Lync Server 2010 available later this year.
