Gateway Cleaning & Restoration, LLC is excited to announce their partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, the nation's first non-profit organization dedicated to providing free professional house cleaning and maid services, to improve the lives of women undergoing the treatment of cancer. On Sunday, October 17th, from 12pm-6pm Gateway will host the "Race Against Cancer" at AJ's Grand Prix (1888 Niagara Falls Blvd, Tonawanda, NY 14150) to benefit Cleaning for a Reason, in honor of this new partnership. Gateway is overwhelmed with the positive, enthusiastic response they have already received from the community, colleges, corporate supporters and their clients upon announcing their official involvement.
In support of the "Race Against Cancer", Council Member Demone A. Smith, has graciously sponsored the races for a few women. Avon has also joined the circle of supporters by pledging a donation of 30% of sales to this deserving cause. This event is open to the public and for all ages. The cost to race is $15 of which $5 will go to Cleaning for a Reason. "It's a great honor to be part of a nationwide support system committed to improving the lives of women courageously fighting cancer in the community we service." said Samuel Bonnet, Owner and CEO. "My mother battled with breast cancer for years, so I understand the importance of having a clean environment to help fight this awful disease. I am also very aware of the financial and emotional struggle it causes. For these reasons alone, Gateway is committed to providing women with the peace of mind that comes from having a clean home and to help relieve stress, allowing them to focus on living".
