    With nearly 20 years of litigation experience, Leon represents national manufacturers and retailers, banks, real estate brokers and developers, and pharmaceutical, biotech and technology companies. She litigates breach of contract, fraud, and unfair business practices actions, as well as related business claims such as false advertising, defamation, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, officer and director liability, interference with prospective advantage, and civil RICO charges.

    Leon also represents employers in wage-and-hour/overtime, sexual harassment, race discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation lawsuits. She handles commercial lease disputes, professional liability claims and property management disputes for real estate brokers, has litigated insurance coverage cases for both insurers and policyholders, and has managed and settled class actions on behalf of corporate defendants involving employment, consumer and securities fraud claims.

    A member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the New York and California State Bar Associations, Leon serves as the president of the Harnas African Wildlife Rescue. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law (1991) and her B.A. from Occidental College (1987).
