"Celebrate Paradise!" is one of Ft. Laudi-gras' catchy slogans, and the Midtown Jazz Mingler certainly aims for that objective with a roster of some of the best musicians in the Dade/Broward area. The event will be orchestrated by DJ Big Man Kelly and will showcase the talents of:

    • Jamie Ousley - This celebrated jazz bassist has accompanied Benny Golson, Arturo Sandoval and Nestor Torres. Joined by his band with vocalist SAMM, Jamie shows just why his 2nd CD, "Back Home" is such a hit with fans everywhere.

    • Paulette Dozier - No less a jazz radio maven than Stu Grant has called Paulette Dozier "one of the hidden treasures of jazz in South Florida". Audiences from CA to NY have just called her fabulous. With a blend of original and classic tunes, this stylish singer and her band will swing with and seduce listeners into an exciting evening of fun and romance they won't want to ever end.

In addition to fine and mellow tunes, eventgoers can also enjoy food and drinks provided by local vendors (Call 954.658.1158 for information on new vendor participation and event details.).
