  • (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2011 - With the proving triumph of over 100 successful demonstrations in most major cities, nationally and internationally, Franchise India spread its wings to Chandigarh, a city of enormous business potential, for the fifth time, with its 39th biggest Franchise & Retail, Expo & Conference FRO2011, which was scheduled on June 18th-19th 2011 at Hotel JW Marriott, Chandigarh.

    Shri.     The Startup Summit, organized by Franchise India, in association with the Government of India's Ministry for MSME and Indian Franchise Association, saw presence of over 75 national and international brands looking for expansion in north India.     Day one of the summit shall focused on growing business opportunities in varied industrial segments including retail, fashion, beauty and wellness, education and training, while, the second day concentrated to entrepreneurs, an insight into the technical and legal know-how to deepen the understanding of the franchising business. Exploring business opportunities in the industrial segments of retail, fashion, beauty and wellness, education and training were the highlights of the day, in which some of the successful business people shared their experiences including Mr. Naveen Gupta, CEO, Frameboxx Animation, Ms. Manisha Ahlawat, MD and CEO, Rose Red-Lifestyles, Mr. Rahul Narvekar, Managing Partner, Fashion and You.
