About Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary:
Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary (FAAAS) was founded by Michele Bolinger in 2008 when she purchased the 11.5-acre farm in Medina, Ohio to provide a home to the two special needs horse she had at the time. For five years Bolinger personally funded FAAAS until gaining nonprofit status in 2013. Forever Amber Acres is currently home to three horses, three once-feral cats and two dogs. Most of the permanent residents at the sanctuary have multiple health problems, and all of which had been neglected and abused prior to being rescued by Bolinger. FAAAS has also rescued and placed 35 other horses and multiple cats and dogs. All rescues and placements are under a First Right of Refusal contract to ensure the safety and security of the animals.
