Based in the Boston Globe headquarters, as a separate organization providing events to the Globe, Events INSIDER's focus is interactivity. They avoid sit down, shut up events such as indoor concerts, but have the largest list of outdoor concerts in Boston and beyond. Every year, Events INSIDER lists 4,000 outdoor summer movies, concerts, and theatre shows. Johnny Monsarrat announced this week that his new arts editor will be Mike Hoban, a longtime journalist and theatre reviewer at Events INSIDER and elsewhere.
