  • (1888PressRelease) July 28, 2016 - Two hundred investors, media and partners registered for Starta Accelerator's first demo day during which its first class, six Eastern-European tech companies, showcased their products and services at the Microsoft HQ on Times Square. Starta Accelerator is pleased to announce the post-graduation updates:

Navigine, www.navigine.com (an enterprise platform for IT solution providers who need simple tools to create precise indoor navigation and tracking solutions) has raised $400K from a pool of American and European investors a month before the Demo Day. Currently they are negotiating series A and received an offer from one of most well known accelerators in the States.

GeoCV, www.geocv.com (a mobile app for 3D reality capture) got two M&A offers from competitors right after the Demo Day. They gained their first clients and are now closing $3.5M in funding.

OnlinePatent https://onlinepatent.org (a full scope provider of service in supporting the intellectual property protection) has learned their competitive advantages in U.S. market, adapted the strategy, and strengthened their position in Russia.

C`Indicator http://cindicator.com (a crowd-forecasting platform that provides valuable, independent and accurate forecasts and signals for traders, analysts and individual investors) pivoted their product in the first month of the accelerator, raised $250K seed within the first month after the Demo Day and already got a commitment for the next round.

JetHunter https://www.jethunter.net (a platform that simplifies the private jet marketplace by aggregating sales channels, airline management and operation software, payments and contracting) pivoted from B2C to B2BB market and got impressive traction. Currently, the team is finalizing a deal with American investors.

Healbe https://healbe.com/us (a health wearables company) pivoted their business model and raised follow-up round of $6.5M and received two offers from European investors.

Currently, Starta Accelerator is preparing for its second class of founders. During the second-quarter of this year, the Starta team traveled through Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Israel on a talent-recruiting mission. They met with hundreds of talented founders, hosted a series of educational events with stellar speakers like Adam Singolda (CEO & Founder of Taboola), and finalized the list of hundreds applications for the second class.

This trip also served as a fundraising and promotional trip for the Accelerator itself. Katya Dorozhkina, Starta Accelerator's managing partner, participated on the trip. "It is a thrill to promote our vision for bringing frontier technology from Eastern Europe to a global audience through mentorship, investment and a growth mindset."

The Accelerator's second class of tech founders will begin in August in New York City.
