Finance and business students to benefit from new partnership between Symbiosis International University and ACCA
Symbiosis International University (SIU), a leading University of India, has always been a forerunner in providing best opportunities to its students. As another step in that direction, Symbiosis International University (SIU) has signed an agreement with ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
- (1888PressRelease) September 17, 2014 - The agreement was signed by Dr. VidyaYeravdekar, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International University on 26th August 2014. This agreement will provided a unique opportunity to Finance students to achieve a bachelors' degree in business and finance and a globally recognized professional accountancy qualification at the same time.
The students will receive ACCA tuition alongside the regular bachelors' degree programme so that a student will be able to complete their bachelors and ACCA exams at the same time. Through their ACCA exams, students will also achieve a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. The ACCA Qualification, which takes around three years to complete, is officially recognized as being equivalent to a Master's degree in the UK.
