  • (1888PressRelease) October 20, 2011 - MORRISTOWN, N.J - Financial Executives International, the foremost professional organization for corporate financial management, announces a new direction for its monthly magazine Financial Executive, which is available to FEI members in print and digital format. The redesigned magazine features a new visual direction, modernized cover design and logo, revised page design and two new monthly columns.

According to Financial Executive's Editor-in Chief Ellen M. Heffes, the new design makes the magazine easier to read and is intended to capture the readers' attention and enhance their experience. The newly-designed magazine's inaugural issue-April, 2011-features a cover photo intended to reflect the serious, yet less formal lifestyle and personality of today's senior-level financial executive.

The online version of Financial Executive, http://www.financialexecutives.org/KenticoCMS/Financial-Executive-Magazine/2011_09.aspx, is also easier to navigate, with a drop-down table of contents that allows readers to move directly to any article, column or feature without searching the magazine's pages. It also allows readers to link to advertisers' websites for more information on a product or service. Readers may also enlarge, share or print off selected pages with just a click.

New monthly columns in Financial Executive include "The Office," which highlights FEI executives who work for unique or unusual companies, and "Global Glance," which details world views and events relevant to FEI and financial executives.

The updated Financial Executive also contains specific articles for which FEI members can receive continuing professional education (CPE) credit in different fields of study. These one-credit (50-minute) Web-based, self-study courses are available for FEI CPE credits, except in states that do not accept Web-based self-study credits. FEI is a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors and is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
