Facebook Piano Contest Draws 1,000 Fans A Day
SonnysPianoTV.com is running a "Win A Free Piano Contest" on Facebook/SonnysPianos and the votes are really coming in.Here's an update on contesttant videos and daily activity.

Owner and CEO of SonnysPianoTV.com, Sonny Stancarone had been running his Internet based TV shows and Piano Gallery carrying quality used pianos for over 15 years with loyal customers coming back for more, yet Facebook remained basically an untapped resource. That is, until now. With the onset of the contest, new fans began liking the sight and people started talking about it. The likes went from 46 to 414, more than doubling in the last week. The contest has received close to 8,000 visits just this week, 6,000 last week, with well over 1,000 votes per day and growing. The top two videos are running a close race with over 850 votes apiece, flipping into first and second place from hour to hour. More than 3,500 total votes have been cast. Fans can see votes as they change dynamically.The excitement is building!
Grand Prize - Knabe Baby Grand
The contest allows fans to upload a video of someone playing every kind of keyboard (See contest rules). The current videos run the gamut of contestants playing serious classical music to children learning to play. Fans can vote for multiple videos each day but can only vote once a day per video. New video contestant videos can be uploaded through December 12th, and voting will continue through December 19th. Fan are voting for their favorites and the top 3 videos with the most votes will all win pianos. The Grand Prize is a Knabe Baby Grand Piano, followed by a Steinway upright and an Aeolian player piano. Sonny's Piano Yoga "Play Piano Instantly" DVD kit for learning piano will be awarded to seven runner-ups.
Sonny started playing piano at the age of 7. His passion for pianos is evident in everything he does. Just watch some of his videos on the website, or speak with him for 5 minutes, and it is obvious that pianos are his lifelong passion. His mission: To promote piano playing for health, relaxation and wellbeing, and as something we can all do. Sonny genuinely wants to share his passion with others. He is giving away the pianos to people he believes really want and need them, but who may not be able to just go out and buy a piano. This contest is the first in a planned series of contests designed to spread the word about piano playing and to provide a forum for fans to exchange comments and ideas about "all things piano".
