  • (1888PressRelease) October 17, 2011 - 'We want to educate people about what is really going on in the world to help them take control. Our goal is peace and equality for everyone.'

You don't expect a band called Lazer Totin' Lizards to have this musical mission vision. But it is what the band wants and it's happening, so you might as well give them a good listen. They want you to get involved and it's something worth experiencing.

Lazer Totin' Lizards (LTL) is a rock 'n' roll band formed in Tucson, Arizona in 2009. It was just a little band dabbling in unleashing creativity every now and then, but as more people jammed, LTL became full-fledged rockers hell-bent to make a dent in the music industry.

Lazer Totin' Lizards got their name from the 70's; it's been said that aliens in the form of lizards will invade earth and become its rulers. Well, the only invasion you'll be getting from LTL is the music kind, bombastic and hardcore.

The LTL roster is comprised of Eric Ward (guitars), John Goode (guitars) - they take turns playing lead and rhythm guitars - Marco Favela (vocals), Josh Mallett (drums), and Chris Winkler (bass). They're all professional musicians, some of which graduated with music degrees. With the addition of Marco from Mexico, LTL's sound became more distinct, colorful, and spicy-good.

LTL cites Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and even Elvis Presley as icons, but they don't count out contemporary artists such as Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Mars Volta, and Marilyn Manson as additional influences. The band's sound is heavy, strong, and rooted in rock 'n' roll. There's a razor-edge quality to it but the band never forgets melody and even thought-provoking lyricism. Listen to Lazer Totin' Lizards' music and be transformed for the better.

For now, Lazer Totin' Lizards are planning a tour in Southwest, USA to promote their current EP album. Soon after, they would like to tour the world. You can download their EP at iTunes distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves, a partner of Universal Music Group.
