    Noreen Slank and Deborah Hebert have both served the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan as chairpersons and council members. Slank frequently lectures on matters of appellate practice and is one of only a select few attorneys named by Best Lawyers in America as a Michigan "Best" appellate lawyer. Slank also serves the Michigan Supreme Court as a member of its Model Civil Jury Instruction Committee, a committee of lawyers and judges that meets quarterly to recommend how juries should be instructed on the law.
