  • (1888PressRelease) January 18, 2011 - Isle of Man based corporate service provider Equiom will be attending ICE Totally Gaming 2011.

ICE, the world's leading showcase for gaming technology and new product innovation, is a three day e-Gaming expo held at Earl's Court in London. Last year's event attracted almost 19,000 attendees from across the globe and the 2011 event, which runs from 25 to 27 January, is expected to be even bigger. As in previous years, Equiom will be co-exhibiting on the Isle of Man Government's stand along with a selection of other corporate service providers and other providers to the e-Gaming industry. The shared exhibition is part of the Isle of Man Government Department of Economic Development's on-going strategy to attract more online gaming operators to the Island. The industry already accounts for over 600 jobs on the Isle of Man and has the capacity to increase considerably as a result of the Island's excellent technological infrastructure and strong financial reputation.

Equiom's aim for the event is to raise awareness of their dedicated e-Gaming team and the corporate services that they offer. The Company is based on the Isle of Man but has a global presence, with other offices in Cyprus and Jersey. Equiom offers a wide range of relevant services, from guiding businesses through the licence application process to tax planning and management of corporate structures.

Richard MacNee, Equiom's Senior Manager of Business Development, commented on the event: "This is an opportunity for us to exhibit to a truly global audience in a sector that can expect only growth in the near future. Online gaming has enormous potential and the Isle of Man is an excellent jurisdiction for licensing. We strongly believe that both Equiom and the Isle of Man offer gaming operators unique business opportunities."

Richard continued: "ICE is the first of a number of events we plan to attend in the near future. We also intend to visit South and Central America, with plans already in place to go to Macau and Panama. Alongside this external exposure for the Equiom e-Gaming brand we are actually growing our team internally to accommodate the great potential we see in the market."

Richard will be accompanied on the stand by Kerry Tasker, Team Leader of e-Gaming Services at Equiom. Both will be at stand 5530 to discuss Equiom's services with ICE attendees.
