  • Sacramento, CA (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2010 - Sims Recycling Solutions, the world's largest electronics recycler is partnering with McClellan Business Park and News10 to provide the community with an electronics recycling event to raise money for the River City Food Bank. This event will be held on America Recycles Day which is Monday, November 15, 2010 at the McClellan Business Park off of Watt Ave., at 3140 Peacekeeper Way, McClellan, CA 95652 from the hours of 6:00am-7:00pm.

    The e-waste collection event will be set up as a drive through and drop off event. Staff will be on site to collect items from your car quickly and conveniently. For added convenience, if you are dropping off a monitor or a TV for recycling, please print and complete the collection log found at the www.us.simsrecycling.com/AmericaRecyclesDay website.

    Sims Recycling Solutions can accept the following: televisions (TVs), monitors, computers, laptops, cell phones, telephones, printers, speakers, keyboards, mice, PDAs, radios, stereos, MP3s, DVDs, CD Players, and VCRs (etc). Sims Recycling Solutions cannot accept household appliances, smoke detectors, microwaves, batteries, ink/toner cartridges, and cans/bottles.
