Educomp Foundation in Collaboration with Mahavir International organizes "Free Health Check-up Camp" at Jaitpur Village in Greater Noida
The Blue Window Initiative of Educomp Foundation aims to promote primary education, computer literacy, girl child education, awareness of health and hygiene and clean environment at Jaitpur Village, Greater Noida,U.P.
- (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2014 - New Delhi - Educomp Foundation which is an initiative of India's largest education service provider Educomp Solutions Limited has decided for a long term commitment towards the need of society and in this regard it organized a "Free Health Check-up Camp" at Government Primary School, Jaitpur village, Gautam Budha Nagar, Greater Noida, in collaboration with well reputed charitable organization, Mahavir International, Delhi.
The program aims to engage with residents of Jaitpur village and explain the importance of Health and Hygiene in the life of children, youth, women and senior citizens. Those present on the occasion included the Gram Pradhan of Jaitpur Village, Mr. Pramod Singh, Ex-Gram Pradhan Mr. Om Prakash, Academic Director of JRE School of Management, Mr. Stephen Rawlingson, Founder Chairman of Maurya Udyog Ltd, Mr. V.K.Sureka and officials from Educomp Foundation as well as student volunteers of JRE School of Management and Engineering.
This initiative is an extension of the on-going village development plan, which focuses on supporting primary education, computer literacy drive, Girl Child Education, spreading awareness about health and hygiene, environmental sustainability and equipping the deserving one with vocational skills to make them financially independent.
This area of Jaitpur with a population of 3000 residents and approx.600 school children with men and women in the ratio of 60:40, has only 4 primary schools in the village and resident have no access to senior secondary education, primary health center or any other such center. Therefore this awareness program shall certainly benefit school children, eldrly and youth population with the platform of Blue Window Initiative in the area to voice the concern of the society.
Educomp foundation along with Students of JRE presented a Nukkad Natak on the occasion that emphasized the importance of health and hygiene for a healthy society.
