The jam-packed evening will focus on Avid® Media Composer® and Pro Tools®, and present the all new Avid MediaCentral | Editorial Management module.     The latest release of Avid Media Composer includes some fantastic new features including; the ability to edit 16K projects for digital signage, performing insert edits to a previously exported sequence and a top feature request: a live timeline allowing editors to continue working in other parts of Media Composer while the media or sequence is still playing out. Avid will also be highlighting some features that were announced at NAB, such as enhancements to working with multicam groups, shape-based color correction functionality and a new in-app title tool that will work in hi-def and hi-res projects.

    Purpose-built for post-production, Avid’s new MediaCentral | Editorial Management solution is designed for creative teams who need to create and collaborate faster and more effectively in an increasingly competitive environment. Using a completely integrated media panel, Media Composer editors can quickly search and access bins and clips outside of their active project. In addition, Editorial Management enables anyone on the team, from PA’s to producers, to browse and search media via a streamlined web interface; MediaCentral | Cloud UX. The MediaCentral | Cloud UX web UI even allows for the creation of bins and modification of projects, outside of Avid Media Composer.

    Pro Tools continues to evolve and grow with amazing new features for music creation, recording, mixing, and audio post workflows, especially when paired with Avid’s EUCON-enabled control surfaces and interfaces. Avid will be showcasing some of the newest innovations in Pro Tools, as well as showcasing the Avid Pro Tools | S3 and Pro Tools | Dock.

    Senior Avid project managers will also be on hand to speak with attendees and answer their questions.

    The Editors’ Lounge offers the opportunity to learn from post-production industry peers and networking with new and old friends.
