  • (1888PressRelease) June 20, 2019 - Munich, June 18, 2019 ECT (European Computer Telecoms AG), Europe’s leading communications software company for the realization of value-added services in next-generation networks, has signed a contract with one of Europe’s fastest-growing mobile operators for the provision of a highly-customized unified communications (UC) and virtual PBX (VPBX) service for three years commencing June 1, 2019. With this solution, the carrier, a major player in the region, is targeting large enterprises and municipalities with thousands of subscribers per organization.

    The UC and VPBX solution, a custom-built service for the specific needs of the operator, is provided in the operator’s own telco cloud. The carrier is also migrating current subscribers from various legacy solutions to ECT’s Telephony Application Server (TAS), which is integrated via IMS in their own voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) network.
