  • Durham, NC (1888PressRelease) April 07, 2011 - The 2011 Durham Senior Amateur Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place On May 23 and 24 at Hillandale Golf Course and Pro Shop. This year's tournament features a record purse of $10,000 (based on a full field.) The 36 hole medal play format is probably one of the biggest senior amateur golf tournaments in the South. This year the tournament features 72 sponsors, up from 56 last year. Entries are being submitted on a regular basis and a full field of 120 golfers is expected. The deadline for entries is May 14, 2011. At the current pace of registration the field will be completed ahead of the deadline and an alternate list of players will be developed to replace no-shows.

G Data Software will be giving away some really nice items at the Pig Pickin, In addition, University Ford will be giving away a new car for the first hole-in-one on number 17 as well as nice gifts for hole-in-ones on the other par 3 holes.

    To participate send in the entry form as soon as possible to ensure a spot in the field. The entry fee is $125 and includes:
