  • (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2013 - The exhibition, titled "The Sea and the City" will feature a series of works in various forms ranging from fine art painting to photography, sculpture and mixed media.

Ayesha Chen McKeever, Chairwoman, DIAC, said, "The exhibits are truly extraordinary and take us from the deepest oceans and crowded cities to deserted shores, beautiful coastal scenes and unruly waves. The density of imagery and complex built-up of the theme is absolutely fabulous. These are real and surreal pictures. What is also interesting is the transformation and metamorphosis one sees of the theme from one media to another.

Wandering around the exhibition, what is likely to strike you is how familiar the pictures look. Hopefully, people will find different meanings for themselves. There are definitely some surprises amid the expected. What is truly fascinating are the bold sculptures. Equally arresting are the stunning photographs.
