    The first of four draws in the ongoing citywide 'Shop and Win' extravaganza, organised in celebration of the UAE 40th National Day, was carefully timed with the Eid celebrations. In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, Dubai Festival City staged the first leg of the Aladdin show, a stage performance that appealed to all nationalities and age groups present at the event. Parked with songs, slapstick, silliness, audience participation for the whole family and all the fairy tale magic of the traditional pantomime, the show brought out a true balance of traditional modernity and attracted visitors to the mall leaving children and families well enthralled.

    Ma. Khadijah C. Sali a Philippines national and one of the lucky shoppers who bagged the prize after shopping at Deira City Centre mall expressed her excitement. "I am very happy to have won the prize. I couldn't believe it when DSMG called me because I have always wished to win something in many promotions but it has never happened to me. I am glad that it happened in Dubai because there are so many exciting places to shop here."

    Sultan Mohammad, another lucky winner and a UAE national took home AED 40,000 worth of cash and Rivoli shopping vouchers. "I am very happy about the cash and gift vouchers. I am particularly pleased by the fact that I have won during the festival of Eid." He said.

    Other lucky shoppers included nationals of India, Qatar, Syria, Belarus and Britain. The details of the winners are available on the DSMG website, www.dsmg.ae. Winners can redeem the Rivoli gift vouchers at any of the Rivoli outlets in the UAE. These include stores of Rivoli- Instyle , Rivoli Prestige, Rivoli Arcade, Rivoli Eyezone, and Hour Choice - stand-alone locations.

    The 'Shop and Win' promotion was unveiled on the 1st of November in celebration of the UAE 40th National Day. During the campaign, 40 lucky shoppers will have the chance to win prizes worth AED 40,000 each, including a combination of cash prizes and gift vouchers from Rivoli. The three remaining raffle draws will be held on November 17 and 24 with the last draw being on December 2, 2011. Winners details will be posted on the DSMG website - www.dsmg.ae

    The Raffle coupons can be collected on purchase of items worth AED 200 from any of the 21 participating malls in Dubai. These include Arabian Centre, Al Bustan Centre, Al Ghurair Centre, Al Manal Centre, Al Mulla Plaza, Bur Juman, Century Mall, Deira City Centre, Dubai Festival City, Gold & Diamond Park, Ibn Battuta Mall, Lamcy plaza, Mazaya Centre, Mirdiff City Centre, Oasis Centre, Reef Mall, Souk Al Bahar, The Dubai Mall, The Dubai Marina Mall, The Dubai Marina Walk, The Mall of the Emirates.

    In order to be eligible for the draw on a particular date, raffle coupons must be obtained in lieu of purchase receipts issued on or between the raffle draw dates. The raffle coupons are distributed by the customer service desk in each participating mall and each coupon is valid for a single draw.
