  • (1888PressRelease) July 24, 2012 - ATLANTA - DTI, the nation's largest private independent provider of discovery services, facilities management, and knowledge process outsourcing, announced the addition of Jay Koza as Vice President of Business Development. Koza brings more than 25 years of experience handling all aspects of discovery and document review with law firms and corporate legal departments to DTI. Koza will provide DTI clients with strategic solutions for managed review, technology assisted review and other discovery services.

"Technology assisted review and predictive coding have experienced different levels of scrutiny over the past year. The recent Rand Report targeted "eyes only review" as the most costly phase of litigation and we are finding that law firm and corporate clients often question how and when to engage in these cost-effective technologies and solutions," stated Koza. "DTI has incredibly skilled discovery consultants, when combined with the local client touch of 27 offices nationwide; DTI is able to provide unparalleled service and expertise to their clients."

"Jay will provide significant leadership in integrating DTI's technology assisted review and managed document review services, helping our clients save money," stated Dave Barrett, vice president of national sales. "He is a legal industry thought leader who will help DTI remain among the top eDiscovery service providers in the nation."

Koza began his career in litigation support at Aspen Systems and then served in senior executive positions for other prominent organizations such as Uniscribe Professional Services, Merrill Corporation, Huron Consulting Group, Pangea3, and more recently, as President of IDS Legal. He will be based out of New York City and is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and The Sedona Conference. He received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.
