  • (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2010 - Doremus, BtoB magazine's "top agency," and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, have partnered for the second time on the heels of 2009's successful "Communications in Crisis" study with a new collaboration: the Doremus/Tuck Communications Effectiveness Index.

The Doremus/Tuck Index will rate the top companies within selected industries across a spectrum of data points including messaging and channels. The study will survey the customer base where purchasing decisions are made across the following industries: technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, banking, insurance, business travel, automotive, retail and telecommunications.

The Doremus/Tuck Index is scheduled to be unveiled in late Fall 2010, with details to be posted on the new Doremus corporate website (www.doremus.com).

"This study is in keeping with our goal to provide clients with information and insights that help inform their communications strategies," said Carl Anderson, CEO of Doremus. "While there are surveys that rank brand value, perception and reputation, the Doremus/Tuck Index evaluates companies on the strength of their communications."

Professor Paul A. Argenti of Tuck added, "Last year's 'Communications in Crisis' study offered a perspective on how the recession affected communications strategies and challenges with a nod to best practices. The Doremus/Tuck Index is the next step forward. It's a diagnostic tool that identifies the key dimensions of effective communications and delineates which channels are most important to customers."
