  • (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2016 - Just back from entertaining the troops in Afghanistan, Vegas based comedian Don Barnhart is once again gearing up to bring his Battle Comics - Laughter For The Troops to Europe in order to entertain the men and women serving in the Armed Forces.

Battle Comics - Europe Tour will include Jeff Capri from Comic's Unleashed, Slade Ham from X/M Sirius, Bob Kubota from Last Comic Standing and Derek Richards from The Irish Comedy Tour and the team will visit troops serving in Kosovo, UK, Belgium and Germany.

"I have seen what a laugh can do. It can transform almost unbearable tears into something bearable, even hopeful." - Bob Hope

The Battle Comics team just completed a tour that included shows in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Bahrain which included comedian and filmmaker Jordan Brady who captured the tour for his new documentary I AM BATTLE COMIC.

Don emphasized the importance of the comedy shows, "With the increased violence the troops face on a daily basis, the value of bringing humor to them is even greater. Laughter helps to reduce stress and may even help reduce the increasing number of suicides the military faces."

Don is currently in production on the new TV show Class Clowns. The sitcom is created by Barnhart and written by himself and comedian Keith Lyle from The Hangover. Both acts star in the show, which centers on a former, narcissistic 80's sitcom star that hits rock bottom and is trying to make a comeback. The show also

feature fitness sensation and actress Linda Vu who will join Battle Comics later in the year for a Stand Up & Improv Tour.

Barnhart's Battle Comics - World Tour is dedicated to bringing the highest caliber of talent to those serving in the military. From comedy legend George Wallace to comedians from The Tonight Show, Conan, Comedy Central and more, Don Barnhart's Battle Comics is considered the "A" list of comedy talent.

Besides being a regular headliner on the Vegas strip, Don Barnhart's film career has really been taking off. Don can be seen in Finding The Funny with Brad Garrett and Louie Anderson, he plays a disgruntled comedian in Tribute To Fluffy and appears as the crazed shooter in the web series, Max Justice. In 2015, Don's new book, Finding Your Funny made the best-seller list on Amazon.

In order to bring more comedy shows to the troops, Battle Comics is in need of extra funding. "The government only allocates a specific amount of money for their entertainment and when it's gone, there are no more shows so we need donors of all kinds to help underwrite and support bringing more quality entertainment to those serving our country," said Barnhart.

Bringing a piece of home to those serving their country overseas goes a long way and these audiences are grateful, sharing their experiences to their loved ones at home.
