Employees at AAA Appliance Service Center®, operating throughout Metro Chicago, will be participating in the 2012 "One City, One Food Drive."
- (1888PressRelease) November 15, 2012 - Chicago, Illinois - AAA Appliance Service Center®, a Chicago area firm, is participating in the Greater Chicago Food Depository food drive named "One City, One Food Drive". The 2012 drive began on 1 October 2012 and runs to 16 November 2012. The time, energy, and support provided by all will make it possible for the Food Depository to ensure that 678,000 hungry men, women, and children in the Chicago community who turn to pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters for emergency and supplemental food each year, will not go hungry. Food drives are an important source of nutritious food for hungry community neighbors.
The problem of hunger in Cook county Illinois is too big for the Food Depository to handle alone. Fortunately, each year, thousands of individuals, corporations, and organizations join the Food Depository in the fight against hunger by organizing food drives to collect food that is needed in the community. AAA Appliance Service Center® is one such company.
AAA Appliance Service Center® has set a goal of collecting 600 pounds of food for this year's drive. They are approaching their goal, have not yet reached their goal, and there is only a few days left in the drive.
