She previously worked as associate general counsel and chief compliance officer for the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, which advances environmental conservation initiatives and cutting-edge scientific research around the world. Tellier received her J.D. from the University of Oregon (1987) and her B.S. in environmental policy analysis and planning from the University of California, Davis (1982).
