  • (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2011 - WORKHOUSE (workhousepr.com), one of the countries leading public relations and integrated creative agencies, today announced that it has been selected by legendary photographer David Drebin as A.O.R. Workhouse will develop integrated promotional campaigns that synchronize communication efforts for Drebin's Fine Art and commercial projects and will execute a comprehensive public relations plan for domestic publicity and special events.

In a unique manner, David Drebin's work combines voyeuristic and psychological viewpoints. He offers the viewer dramatic insight into emotions and experiences which many of us have felt at some point of our lives. A photographer known for his sexy, intrigue- filled images of celebrities and non-celebrities alike his first monograph, Love and Other Stories, was published by Daab in 2007 offering an expansive journey into the mind of the photographer who has worked with talent from Diane Von Furstenberg, David Caruso, Charlize Theron, Fergie and countless others. His second publication Dreamscapes & Girls offered an exemplary overview of work from 2000 to 2009. 52 photographs in all demonstrated the versatility of his work. Cityscapes and fashion photographs are complemented by panoramic pictures of Capri or the majestic coast near the Italian city of Amalfi. David Drebin has followed these stunning achievements with his gorgeous tome "The Morning After" available by teNeues Publishing Group this May, 2011. On April 1, 2009, his photograph Movie Star sold for $16,250 at the Phillips De Pury & Company spring photographs auction in New York and his current collection of works on view at this year's 2011 New York Armory Show was completely sold out. Drebin's photographs are epic, dramatic and, above all, cinematic. His photographs showcase the world of the young, the beautiful and the stylish constructing a photographic narrative that blurs the line between reality and the imagination. The subtle details create a voyeuristic sensation, as if the viewer is intruding upon the images in a private moment. In a unique and opulent way, he stages his scenes against the gigantic backdrops of cities including Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Rio De Janiero, Berlin and Barcelona. Drebin's intention is to liberate the viewer from the system of rules of everyday life and restore his faith, emotion, and humanity. The distinctive tension and depth in his pictures arise from the free combination of such differing topics as humor and sex, melancholy and sex, and melancholy and humor.

A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City in 1996, David Drebin rapidly made a name for himself as an internationally successful photographer. Famous fans such as Sir Elton john and Ben Stiller have purchased his photographs along with major art collectors around the world. His photographic work has been curated in some of the most important international galleries. He is represented by Camerawork in Berlin, The Young Gallery in Brussels, Fahey Klein Gallery in Los Angeles, Contessa Gallery in Cleveland, PLE in Vienna, and Torch Gallery in Amsterdam. He is represented by Stockland Martel for his commercial campaigns some of which have included work for MTV, Sony, Mercedes, Davidoff, New York Times, Conde Nast "Fashion Rocks" and has been seen in various publications including Vanity Fair, GQ, London Sunday Times Magazine, ESPN magazine and The New York Times Magazine. Drebin has made portraits of Charlize Theron, John Legend, Sandra Bernhard, Kevin Bacon, and Diane Von Furstenberg to name a few. Visit www.daviddrebin.com
