Dallas Police Department and Nixle to Co-Present at Social Media the Internet and Law Enforcement (SMILE) Conference
Dallas PD Highlighting New Technologies to Keep Citizens Informed.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) September 10, 2011 - The Dallas Police Department will speak on its use of cutting-edge, online communication tools in a co-presentation with Nixle, a community information services provider, during the fourth annual Social Media the Internet and Law Enforcement (SMILE) Conference, Sep. 28-30. The department will highlight the new technologies it uses to keep citizens informed, including Nixle messaging.

The SMILE Conference is the leading conference devoted to social media, Internet and law enforcement initiatives. The three-day event will discuss the use of social media in regards to public order, social activism, and the interaction of old media with new media.
The SMILE Conference will be held in the downtown Dallas Aloft Hotel (Young St.) from September 28th through the 30th.
