Creative Entertainment Management Launches New Division

Top Quote Introducing SHE, the new hub for finding the world's best female voice talent. End Quote
  • (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2012 - Brand creation and management company CEM has launched a new division exclusively for world-class female voice talent, SHE. SHE is an invitation-only roster, which provides its clients with services unique to those available through CEM:

    • A central hub for producers to discover the upper tier female talent, with space for descriptions, logos, demos and outbound links to individual websites
    • Inclusion in SHE's periodic marketing, including both electronic and printed pieces
    • Access to a community of other women for potential seminars and webinars on all things voice

Owner of Creative Entertainment Management, Stacey Stahl, developed SHE in response to the trend in voice casting, especially trailer and promo, that favors men over women almost three in four times. Stacey saw this as a problem of both perception and access, and decided it was time to make a change.

SHE approaches this imbalance in two ways. First, its roster of impeccable female talent confronts the popular misconception that women's voices are less trustworthy, less confident and less effective than men's. Second, by grouping a selection of the world's top female talent into one user-friendly showcase, SHE increases access to high-caliber female voices, helping make the choice to cast a woman easier for producers.

SHE's roster is exclusive to seventy-five women, and is filled on a first come, first served basis. It is curated by CEM's owner, herself. In the coming months, invitations to join will be sent to celebrity voice actors, as well. Stacey sees SHE as a tool for raising awareness of the power of the female voice, and as a collaboration between producers and talent, working together to change the current paradigm:

"SHE was born from my belief that banding together is the strongest way to build awareness and start raising women's voices. I have a strong feeling that we as agents, managers, producers, writers, etc. have all been perpetuating the idea that men are more trustworthy and sell products more effectively; that men are better voice talent. I'm ready to make a change. How about you?"
