Covington Who's Who Selects Edward Charles Fontaine Sr. as an Executive of the Year Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Edward Charles Fontaine Sr. first started out as a pre-kindergarten school teacher in 1974 after earning his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. That same year he transferred and became a middle school teacher, followed by a high school teacher one year later. In 1978, he joined the US Marine Corps where he served for 12 years.
Now a supervisor of distribution for the US Postal Service since 1990, Mr. Fontaine Sr. supervises employees in a mail/operations environment, establishes and sets goals and expectations, maintains accountability of employees to include the assessment, staffing, and scheduling, administers work assignments, keeps a safe working environment, and assists in leading the direction of the company.
"I have always been an exceptional leader, motivator, and team player," Mr. Fontaine Sr. admits. "I am a solid coach and mentor and enjoy what I do."
Hoping to someday get into business for himself, Mr. Fontaine Sr. is a current member of NAACP and the University of Maryland's Alumni Association, and has earned numerous Certificates of Appreciation Awards, Letters of Appreciation, Certificates of Commendations, and Good Conduct Medals.
