Covington Who's Who Selects Edna Siniff as a Professional of the Year Member of the Executive and Professional Registry
Edna Siniff, Publisher with CMP Publishing Group, LLC (CMPPG), has been selected as a Professional of the Year Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Edna Siniff's commitment to excellence in Publishing.
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2013 - Edna Siniff, who holds a BA from Michigan State University, began her career in the early 1970's with Scandia Recycling, one of the first communities to formally start a recycling center due to her efforts as a cadet in the Girl Scouts.
As the founder and publisher for the Country Messenger Newspaper, Ms. Siniff has learned a great deal about all the aspects of running a publishing business. She began the newspaper with the help of her then future son-in-law who also served as partner, manager, and graphic designer.
"My love of people and their stories and my interest in history helped contribute to my success as a publisher," Ms. Siniff said.
Now the publisher for CMP Publishing Group, LLC, Ms. Siniff oversees the Elderberry Publishing imprint branch, a branch that focuses on encouraging elder members of society to write or record their oral history. She interviews potential authors, oversees aspiring authors, prepares contracts, does production work, and produces video content.
Most recently CMPPG has moved into marketing through the creation of EWFMarketing and CafeRenew.com. EWFMarketing and CafeRenew are setting fire to an entire cottage industry that has so much to offer the world. Ms. Siniff is proud to be a part of this innovative group of people.
Ms. Siniff has served as a committee member with Washington County Solid Waste Advisory Committee, as co-founder of Scandia Recycling, and on the board of directors for Citizens for Public Education. She is also a 1991 recipient of the American Dream Award from East Suburban Resources.
