  • Tulsa, OK (1888PressRelease) January 12, 2014 - Candice C. Field, Student at Oklahoma State University, has been selected as a Lifetime Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Candice C. Field's commitment to excellence in Higher Education.

Candice C. Field, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at Oklahoma State University, and is now in her junior year of studies, is excited about the many opportunities that await her upon graduation.

Taking classes that have been preparing her for future job responsibilities, Ms. Field is learning all the facets of specific software, including Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, and After Effects. She looks forward to the weeks and months ahead, and is confident that once she graduates she will be able to learn teamwork skills, the ability to create art that communicates clearly to the public, and the ability to accept positive criticism.

Ms. Field had the opportunity to serve as an associate designer and work with a professional designer for a logo design for a new jewelry company in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The experience helped further not only her education, but also her success in witnessing the process of how to work with a client from start to finish.

"Growing up I always had a love of art," Ms. Field said. "Once I began thinking about college and what I wanted to do with my life I immediately knew I had to pursue an art degree."

Hoping to find a job with a company that will allow her to focus on graphic design, specifically brand identity and logo design, once she graduates, Ms. Field is excited about the future. She hopes to be able to explore her creativity to the fullest and work in an environment that will be most beneficial to her skills.

Ms. Field is the recipient of a First Place Award in the Oklahoma State University Student Art Show. The self-portrait charcoal drawing also won her the Wilhelm House Award where her artwork was displayed in the University's President's home.
