    Cirelli, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and French from SUNY College at Buffalo, and a Master's Degree in French Language and Literature from The Ohio State University, also studied at la Sorbonne in Paris, France and at "I'Université d'Avignon. She has been teaching in a classroom setting since 1973.

    Cirelli has experience teaching French in both private and public schools, from elementary through university levels, as well as Advanced Placement French Language and Literature. Her tenured position includes working with the foreign language department to introduce programs such as National French Week, the National French Contest, and the Middle School yearly trip to Quebec City.

    "One might say that foreign language is in my blood," Cirelli admits. "It is my hope and prayer to continue to network with equally inspired colleagues to motivate students to deepen their love of learning and their love of people of others cultures and languages. For me, my true professional success can be found in the hearts of my students."

    Cirelli has previously taught at the college level at both SUNY and The Ohio State University in French, and she has written foreign language materials and worked with authors to write and edit foreign language textbooks in French, Spanish, and German. She has lived and traveled extensively in Europe and has led student groups to three continents.

    A member of numerous organizations, including American Association of Teachers of French, New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers, and Western New York Foreign Language Conference, Cirelli has also been recognized for excellence in teaching in every institution where she has taught. She was twice named a finalist at Ohio State University in its selection for Most Outstanding Teaching Associate across all academic departments. She is also the recipient of the prestigious Mary Alice Seagrave Award, given to a top Western New York foreign language teacher. Her contributions to education have been recognized by a resolution of the New York State Senate and she is a multiple honoree of Who's Who in American Education.
