CORE Projects bags Gujarat Government Computer Aided Learning (CAL) project for 645 Schools

  • (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2010 - MUMBAI - Valued at about Rs. 263.80 million, the order is under the Gujarat Government's programme to introduce CAL based learning technologies in schools. The project will cover in all 645 schools across South Gujarat for five years. This will benefit more than three lakh students.

    The CAL programme envisages the setting up of Computer Aided Learning in Secondary and Higher Secondary schools. This includes supply of hardware, software, manpower services including Teachers' Training and maintenance of systems for five years.

    Announcing the tie-up, Mr. Sanjeev Mansotra, the Chairman and Managing Director of CORE Projects and Technologies Ltd., said: "We are extremely happy to be associated with the Gujarat project. CORE's vast experience and expertise in providing education solutions at national and international levels will help us implement the project in sync with the requirement of Gujarat Government.     CORE has also recently announced a vocational education contract from the Gujarat Knowledge Society in Ahmedabad and Surat districts. The CAL contract for 645 schools will enhance its presence in the State.
