Clearwater Academy International Hosting Early National Signing Day
Clearwater Academy is hosting an early National Signing Day with their football players, who will be choosing which university to attend from those who have offered sports scholarships.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) December 19, 2023 - Clearwater Academy International, a private school in Clearwater, Florida, is proud to announce the upcoming Early National Signing Day event on December 20th, where the school's top football graduates will make the exciting decision of the universities they will attend.
This year's Early National Signing Day promises to be a momentous occasion, as most of the graduating student-athletes have received offers from universities across the nation. Some graduates have even garnered as many as 33 offers, showcasing the outstanding talent and dedication fostered within the Clearwater Academy football program.
Top universities such as Notre Dame, USC, University of Miami, Georgia, Alabama have presented offers to Clearwater Academy's football standouts. This year’s early signing class includes the nation’s number one Interior OL, Jason Zandamela and 4-star DT, Sean Sevillano Jr., and at least 8 more Division 1 commitments. Several students have already made their decisions, and anticipation is building for the official signing ceremony.
Clearwater Academy International has consistently attracted attention from college football scouts, and its commitment to excellence in athletics and academics is reflected in the success of its students. The school has a proud tradition of sending talented athletes to prestigious universities on football scholarships. Since expanding to 11-man football in 2016, nearly 70 Clearwater Academy students have been selected for football scholarships, and this year we may see an additional 15 student-athletes added to that distinguished list.
Head Coach, Jesse Chinchar commented, “We are incredibly proud of our Knights who will be signing their NLI’s on signing day. They’ve been working their whole lives for this moment and I couldn’t be happier for them and their families. These young man are amazing players on the field, but even better people off the field. I’m excited for them to go out and make an impact in the next chapter of their lives.”
The signing ceremony will take place at Clearwater Academy's main building, providing a fitting backdrop for the celebration of these remarkable achievements. Families, friends, faculty, and the local community are invited to join in as Clearwater Academy's top football graduates officially declare their commitment to the next chapter of their academic and athletic career.
